Briiq is an online marketplace operated by Briiq Limited, a New Zealand company. We provide a platform that connects people seeking trade and home services ("Buyers") with verified New Zealand businesses ("Businesses").
By using Briiq, whether as a Buyer or a Business, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
To use Briiq you must:
Briiq is free for Buyers. You can post job requests and receive quotes at no cost. To use the platform as a Buyer, you agree to:
Businesses must complete registration and identity verification before submitting quotes. By registering as a Business, you agree to:
Briiq reserves the right to suspend or remove any Business that receives repeated negative feedback, fails to respond to accepted quotes, or violates these terms.
Buyers pay nothing to use Briiq.
Businesses pay according to their chosen plan. Quote unlock fees apply when a buyer accepts your quote and you request the buyer's contact details. All prices are in NZD and exclusive of GST. Payment is processed via Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
Fees are non-refundable unless required by New Zealand consumer law.
Briiq facilitates connections between Buyers and Businesses but is not a party to any agreement made between them. Any contract for services is between the Buyer and the Business directly. Briiq is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any services arranged through the platform.
Briiq uses a trust scoring system based on identity verification, NZBN status, response times, and other factors. Trust scores are informational only and do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of any Business.
You must not:
All content on Briiq - including the name, logo, design, and code - is owned by Briiq Limited. You may not reproduce, copy, or use our brand or content without written permission.
By posting content on Briiq (such as job descriptions or business profiles), you grant Briiq a licence to display and use that content to operate the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Briiq Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including any disputes between Buyers and Businesses.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of Briiq after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
